Varazdin Championships Is Making Strides

The growth of the Varazdin championships is pleasing for all the minifootball family. Founded in 2014 in first season there were just 10 clubs,

But these Varaždin teams have played important roles on Croatia national minifootball championship, Auto Lončar came 3rd in the national championship and Ropox were runners up in the Croatian minifootball Cup 2015.

In addition, three players from this league played for Croatian national team in Vrsar, the best of these,  Zoran Lukavečki, the player of the season in the Varaždin championship player is Croatia captain and MVP on recent Euro championship in Vrsar.

This season it has extended to 12 teams, the strongest minifootball championship in North West Croatia, with each round, more fans are coming to see really exciting matches.

The key people in the championship are: Mia Ivanković, Hrvoje Ivanković, Rajko Magić, Kristina Šrajbek and many others, with their future plan  to organize over 35 championship and youth championship.

They’ve all paid tribute to the person who is in charge of the championship is Zdravko Begičević who is taking care of all organizational issues and without him it would be almost impossible to have the championship in way we have it now.
