Tirana‘s team participating in the Mini4EU Men Cities Cup was the first ever Albanian amateur minifootball team. It was founded in 2015 and to the day it is the only team in Albania who have participated in all the Championships organised in the country.
At the beginning the team was called TRIN and was formed by a group of people who – faithfully to the goal of minifootball – became friends through playing minifootball together. The team was renewed year by year, the bond between the players and their passion for minifootball grow stronger and stronger. Five of the team’s players became founders of the Albanian Minifootball Association in 2017. Until then no institution has been able to take charge of the Minifootball activities in an organised way in Albania, and they aimed for becoming the main organisation for Minifootball Support and Development in the country.

In 2018 the team changed its name to TITANS. Four players of the renewed team were part of the National Team selection to represent Albania during its first appearance in Euro 2018. Unfortunately, only two of the selected players were available to show their talent in Kiev, as their two other teammates suffered injuries during preparation period.
Last year TITANS were ranked third in the Albanian Minifootball National Championship behind Prestige and Egnatia. The team was supposed to take part in the EMF Champions League 2018 in Terme Čatež, but due to unfortunate injuries and some changes in the team they were unable to attend at the end. Now the team name is changed back again to the old name TRIN – more precisely with a small change to TRIN 2015 MFC – and the players are ready to represent the city of Tirana at the Mini4EU Men Cities Cup.
