Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will be the host of the European Mini Football Championship in 2024. This was decided and approved during the EMF’s annual General Assembly in Sofia, Bulgaria, today.

The tournament, consisting of 24 teams, will start on the 1st of June and the final will be held on the 9th of June, just days before the start of the European Championship. A stadium will be built for the championship with 2000 people capacity. There will be established fan zones, activations and games around the stadium.

As a next step, EMF will have a location check next month in Sarajevo, along with discussions on planning the event with the host country organizing committee. Looking forward to meeting you in Sarajevo for the next great minifootball event, organized by the EMF!
