Today marked the beginning of the Men Cities Cup at the Mini4EU Minifootball Festival, where 27 teams from 18 different countries started to compete for the gold. The teams – representing cities of the European countries this time – were drawn into seven groups of four last day.
By the end of the day, all teams have played two of their group stage’s matches. Tomorrow the audience will see the decisive match for the top place in three groups, between six unbeaten teams. In group B Šibenik will meet Jerusalem, in group D Moscow will face RSI Tuzla, while in group E Kiev will play against Székesfehérvár – Bádogos köz for the first place of their respective groups.
Sofia and Székesfehérvár – Mancz János utca have both also finished today in an unbeaten fashion, and will also proceed to the knock-out stage tomorrow after the third round without doubt. Last matches of the group stage will be played tomorrow at 1 pm.
At the same time, tomorrow will be the first day of the Women Cities Cup, where eight amazing teams from eight countries will play for the right to advance to Saturday’s semi-finals.
