In the second half of Saturday morning, Hungary’s Szigetszentmiklós beat Veni Vidi Vici 5:2 in Group A, while NK Kapela Ekosen played Deltum Burgas of Bulgaria in Group B. The Slovenian team topped their group after the 4:3 victory. Meanwhile, Deltum Burgas and Bolzing FC will have to compete in a penalty shootout, in the afternoon, for the second place of the group.
Lunar Gato drew against Sbornaya Blagoevgrad, 1:1. With this result the team from Bosnia & Herzegovina secured the top place of Group E.
“We finished the group in the first place and we are happy about it. It was a tough match against the Bulgarian team. We don’t know yet who we are going to play next, but we will fight and try to win the next game” said Mario Culina.
In the same group, Ostravský Zábřeh and FK Eagle Team – frega will decide the second place by a penalty shootout as well, later on the day.
From Group K, Juventus Sibia and Aramis SE-Mad Dogs have qualified to the next round, with two wins each.
In Group D, Moldova’s InterDnesterCom came out on top in an unbeaten fashion, while Slovakia’s FC Letka finished as the runner-up.
Premiersoft Autodriver from Romania topped Group J with seven points, while Menežeris from Slovakia came second with five points.
“We just passed the group. My players really started to feel the game and the field today. The next game will be difficult; we have to win to qualify. I think we have the strength to pass and a lot of teams are getting tired. We have a good chance, we are not afraid of any of the teams” said Lucian Chelcu after the game.
Greece’s Sykies FC topped Group H with seven points, after a 5:5 draw with Lokomotive. Meanwhile, Moldova’s Ecolux ended the group stage as the runner-up of the group.
