The Greek National Team is about to start the 2nd stage of the training session which will carry on right up to the beginning of the miniEURO 2014. The team management has decided to accept the invitation and participate in a 3-Nations Cup with Bulgaria and Cyprus, one day before the Opening Ceremony of miniEURO. This friendly tournament will take place in Sofia and the Bulgarian Minifootball Association will host the event. All three teams will have a great opportunity to pass the final test before the official games, and check  the actual shape of each player.

All 13 players that are members of the Greek delegation will travel to Bulgaria through Thessaloniki airport in November 24th and in Sofia will meet also the Cypriot delegation. Among the 13 players of the team, the only one who will not be able to play is Alexis Karatis due to his serious injury but he will anyway be member of the delegation, as he is the most experienced player of the team during the past years and for sure one of the big stars of the miniEURO in general.

It worth noting that Greece were together with Bulgaria at the 2nd pot, so there was not any possibility before the draw to play against each other. Cyprus is in the 3rd group. Greece is going to play against Romania, Slovenia and Lithuania. Bulgaria is playing against Slovakia, Poland and Wales , and Cyprus will face Germany, Cyprus and Latvia in a group with 2 clear favourites and two outsiders.
