Holidays are over, slowly but surely everyday life has made it´s way into 2017. Reason enough for Germany to also herald their start of the minifootball year.
This weekend, there will be the second training camp in the course of their EURO-preparations at their recently founded base camp in Goettingen, Lower Saxony. Besides many familiar faces there will also be some new ones this time, all willing to make their way into the squad.
“I´m especially looking forward to the few new faces in our team, who will surely heat up the competition within the team. In matters of quality, this training camp we can expect a lot from our players, everyone will have to show their best. The fight for places in our EURO squad is in full swing” says head coach Marc Mueller.
How important those short weekend-camps for the whole German team are is proved by the fact that their physio and fitness coach will make his way from the very south of Germany to Goettingen to do several performance tests with the players. His observations will be the basis for the following camps in the near future.
