Armenian Minifootball Federation teamed up with Ararat and together they organised a minifootball tournament for children which was held in Abovyan city. Six teams participated in the tournament.
Avan YKM team won the tournament. They won the final over the co-organisers Ararat 5: 1. Abovyan City team took third place beating Arabkir team 5:3.
The tournament’s best players were Avan YKM team player David Petrosyan and Arabkir team player Alex Brutyan. The best goalkeeper was M. Hakopyan from Arabkir, while the top scorer, with 7 was Alexander Khachatryan from Ararat.
During the awards ceremony AMFF President Artem Shahbazyan had a talk with players and their parents. He highly rated the young players for being well organized and asked parents to be more attentive regarding their children’s intellectual and psychological development, and promised to give more time and attention for young players development in the future.
