Excitement for the WMF World Cup 2025 is reaching new heights as the official draw ceremony is set to take place on March 12 at 18:00 local time in Baku, Azerbaijan. The tournament will bring together 32 teams from around the world (20 members of the EMF) and promises to be one of the most competitive editions yet. Fans can tune in to the live draw event on YouTube, where the groups will be determined, setting the stage for an unforgettable competition.

The teams have been officially divided into four pots, each containing eight teams.

POT 1

●     Romania
●     Kazakhstan
●     Serbia (current European champions)
●     Hungary
●     Mexico
●     Czechia
●     Slovakia
●     Azerbaijan (host nation)

Seven members of the EMF are present in the POT 1, including the defending world champion Romania and the current European champion Serbia.

POT 2

●     Bulgaria
●     Montenegro
●     USA
●     France
●     Ukraine
●     Georgia
●     Mauritania
●     Ghana

Bulgaria, Montenegro, France, Ukraine, and Georgia will definitely try to secure their spots in the quarter-finals and perhaps go even further.

POT 3

●     England
●     Portugal
●     Bosnia & Herzegovina
●     Thailand
●     UAE
●     Chad
●     Spain
●     Slovenia

We can say that there are plenty of dark horses in this pot. Is there a chance for Bosnia, Portugal, or Spain to make an impact in the knockout stages?

POT 4

●     Poland
●     India
●     Türkiye
●     Costa Rica
●     Israel
●     Bahrain
●     Uzbekistan
●     Argentina

For these teams, Baku 2025 represents a golden opportunity to shine on the biggest stage and challenge the best in the world.
