EMF executive committee has decided that EMF Champions League and EUROCUP will take place in Hungary and Montenegro in 2022.
The EMF Champions League will take place from 31 August to 04 September in Herceg Novi, Montenegro with a limited number of 24 teams in the main category and 8 teams for the Masters.
EMF Champions League will be 24 team tournament for EMF members national champions with a 2000 EUR prize for the winner, 2nd place will get 1000 EUR and 3rd place – 500 EUR. The masters’ prize will be 1500 EUR.
The EUROCUP will take place in Hajdúszoboszló, Hungary from 14 September to 18 September 2022.
32 teams featuring top clubs from all over Europe will play for the title and a 1500 EUR prize for the 1st place, 2nd place – 900 EUR, 3rd place – 600 EUR.
It was 5 candidates who sent their bids: Italy, Poland, Hungary, Montenegro, and Poland. After 3 weeks of analysis, the EMF executive committee decided to separate EMF Champions League and EUROCUP and to go forward with Montenegro and Hungary, whose bids showed the best conditions for teams.
Hungary and Montenegro hosted the EMF EURO already and are now ready to invite the best clubs from all over Europe.
