Mini4EU starts with U23 competition

On Thursday morning the Mini4EU tournament will start with the U23 groups taking the fields in Székesfehérvár. The twelve U23 teams representing six countries will start the U23 Minifootball Cities Cup at 10 in the morning. The participating teams were drawn into three groups Wednesday afternoon.

Hungary will be represented by seven teams during the matches, coming from different cities and districts of Székesfehérvár and Budapest. Slovakia sent a team from Bratislava to Mini4EU, while the Romanian team will arrive from Drobeta. Ukrainian flags will fly for the team from Kiev, and the Czech Republic’s one for the team from Jihlava.

The juniors from OFK Šabac, from Serbia, will have good chances at the competition as the team was founded in 2007 and have five Serbian Mini-maxi league’s gold to their names.

The day will finish with the best eight teams standing and they will continue their Mini4EU minifootball fun Friday morning, at 9 am with the quarterfinals.
