By the end of Friday all twelve teams of EMF Seniors Champions League have played two rounds in the group stage.
Mav Glissando Timisoara and Moskvich both finished the day in Group A with 4 points, leaving less points to collect for the other two teams of the group: Masterplast – the team joined by EMF’s President Mr. David Tibor – and LTO. The Romanian and the Russian team both had sweeping victories over their respective opponents in the first round before drawing 2:2 with each other in the second.
In Group B FC Arcelor Mittal and the quickly-assembled senior team of the European Minifootball Federation both ended the day with no points, but with fond and fun memories of their matches against the group’s favourites. Romania’s Liriada Brasov and Hungary’s 1.FC Corrado both finished the day unbeaten fashion. The Hungarian team came third in last year’s edition of EMF Seniors Champions League and will play a decisive match against the Romanian side tomorrow.
Everything remained open in Group C after two rounds. KMN Meteorplast is now topping the group with 6 points. Lovcen banka behind them gave themselves plenty hope to progress into the quarter finals with 3 points, while Mary-Tour Magic and Boxo Slovakia are following with 1-1 point.
Tomorrow the last round of the group stage will be played at 11 a.m. and the quarter finals at 5 p.m.
