Azerbaijan, Belgium and Switzerland join EMF

During the EMF general assembly held last weekend in Budapest, the EMF has accepted 3 new members: Azebaijan, Belgium and Switzerland.

Azerbaijan Minifootball Association presented to the general assembly their vision for developing the sport in the country together with very strong commercial partners such as the Azfar Group. After fulfilling all the legal requierments the general assembly voted in favor of accepting Azerbaijan as a new members and it will send teams to upcoming EMF EURO in Kiev and to the Champions League in Slovenia.

 Belgium Sixte Federation of Minifootball joined EMF as partner organization in 2015 and sent the national team to EMF EURO in Croatia. Last year Belgium participated in the EURO in Czech republic for the second time and now after meeting all the legal and statutory requirements, Belgium has become a full EMF member.

Switzerland, one of the most important countries in international sports has also joined EMF as full member and later this year will organize first Minifootball tournaments in the Italian and French parts of the country.

These 3 new countries bring total EMF members to 33.
