The Bosnian minifootball association continues to make great strides. On the back of forming the national team won bronze medal at Mini Euro 2015 they did a great job in order to promote this sport in their country.
Minifootball, which was completely unknown in Bosnia and Herzegovina before, today experiences great expansion on the entire territory of this small country. To be more precise, the Minifootball league starts in all big cities such as: Sarajevo, Mostar, Tuzla, Bihać, Gradiška, Vitez, Čapljina, Velika Kladuša, Široki Brijeg, Kiseljak etc.
The League starts in the end of the month and it is expected to end until the June. After that we plan to organize finals in Vitez, the city from which everything started.“ Says Bojan Rajković, the president of the Association and adds: “Last month we had so much job to do in order to inform the people about minifootball. Although this sport was pretty unknown to most of them, they were not aware of the fact that it was popular through football recreation with slight differences in rules. We have to admit that there is a great interest in this sport at this time mostly due to the fact that we had great result on miniEuro2015 in Vrsar. At that time, many people watched livestream of our games on Hayat TV. The main sponsor of the League is Karlovačko, one of the most popular breweries in the region.“
The finals which will be held in Vitez will be a good basis for selection of the national team but the entire League will be closely watched and each player will have the chance to represent its country in EMF Euro 2016 in Hungary.
