The Executive committee of the Slovak Minifootball Association appointed Stanislav Cintavý as the main coach of the Slovak minifootball team earlier this month.

Cintacvy has high aspirations for the team: “Slovakia had great results in the first European Championship and we would like like this to carry on. Only in a few team sports do Slovakia rank among the top five and have such a good reputation/renown as in minifootball.

The countries goals for the next miniEURO championship are clear: “We have the highest ambitions, we would like to return from the championship with medals on our necks“, said the main coach about the team´s ambition to rank among the top three. “Minifootball is becoming more and more popular and in the long term, we would like to become one of the most important players/actors worldwide“, continues Cintavý. He also appreciated the effort of Slovak minifootball representatives in organizing a potential future championship: “I really honour the endeavour of my colleagues who, despite the Slovak environment which is not very favourable for support of sports, with their great enthusiasm have the highest ambitions and Slovakia can have strong position in minifootball,” he finishes.

Stanislav Cintavý has been involved in minifootball for more than seven years already, when he was one of the founding members of FC Bepon, who started at the second highest level of Slovak minifootball league. As an active player and team coach at the same time, he managed to achieve promotion with his team to the top league where they decisively won the champions title in the season 2013/2014. This meant Cintavy qualified to pick players from Bratislava Minifootball League to play at Slovak Minifootball Championship where the team that Cintavy coached gained another precious title – that of the Slovak Minifootball Champion. Currently, Cintavý is a statutory of the Bratislava Minifootball League where he heads the Referee and Disciplinary Committee, furthermore he is also a manager of the team and active player of the “B“ group as well. And last but not least, for more than nine years he is also a minifootball referee.

In the civil life, Stanislav Cintavý works as a manager of the Slovak company Bepon, he is 32 years old and lives in Bratislava.
