Romania Celebrates Its Golden Minifootball Year

The town of Bega in Timisoara  hosted the first end of year gala organized by the Federation of Football Fields (FRF) in Romania, Razvan Burleanu

President of the FRF, Razvan Burleanu – who is also the Head of the European Minifootball Federation, had among the guests Filip Juda, the President of the World Minifootball Federation  spoke at the event “Minifootball 2013 – past, present and … future”

The gala was told that plans for the sport was in full ascent. He also explained that Timisoara, which is home to four players from the victorious squad plus coach the national team Tiberiu Lajos, who has led his side to be multiple European champions, is an example to follow in the sport.

“This is the first conference of its kind that we have organise in Romania. This is the first project that we want to start at the national level, so that at the end of the year to reward everyone involved in Romanian minifootball, together with our partners, as we do these days here in Timisoara is very important ” said Mr. Burleanu. He explained why he chose Timisoara, as the first host such an event. “For all of the minifootball Romanian, Timişoara is a model of successful performance. Why I chose this new project of Romanian minifootball, regarding organizing such a conference to begin in Timisoara. President of the Romanian Minifootball Federation, as well as the European one, at only 29 years old, Razvan Burleanu not afraid that the rest federations will want by any means to prevent Romania, which is no.
